Against Divorce
As
Jesus taught, a Pharisee came up and said, “Lord, is it lawful for a man to
divorce his wife?”
And Jesus said, “You supposed to know. What says
the law?”
The Pharisee replied, “The law provides that man may be divorced, may
put away his wife.”
And Jesus said, “The hardness of the hearts of men induced the giver of the law
to make provisions such as these. But from the first it was not so. God made a woman for a man, and they were one.
And afterwards he said, ‘A man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall
cleave unto his wife. They are no more divided. They are one, one flesh.’
What God has joined together, let no man put asunder.”
Jesus Gives More Explanations On Marriage And Adultery
Now,
when they went up to the house, a man made free to ask again about this matter
of divorce. And Jesus said again what He had said to the Pharisee. And
then He gave the higher law of marriage life: “Whoever puts away his
wife, except on the grounds of adultery, and takes another wife commits
adultery. The woman who shall leave a man, unless he be a libertine and an adulterer, and then becomes the wife
of any other man, commits adultery.”
And Thomas asked, “What is adultery?”
And Jesus said, “The man who harbours lustful thoughts, who covets any woman
not his wife, is an adulterer. And
the wife who harbours lustful thoughts, and covets any man who is not
wedded to her, who is not her husband, is an adulterer.
“Men cannot make a law to bind two hearts. When two are bound in
love they have no thought of lust. The woman cannot leave the man. The man has
no desire to send his wife away. When men and women harbour lustful
thoughts, and covet any other flesh, they are not one, not joined by God.”
And Philip said, “Lord, are there few that God has joined in holy marriage
bonds?”
And Jesus said, “God knows the pure in heart. The lustful men and women are but
creatures of the lustful self. They cannot be at one. Nor can they be at one
with God. A person who is not trustworthy is also not reliable in his ways.”
Nathaniel
(who Jesus Christ renamed Bartholomew) said, “Is it not well that all men
should refrain from taking on themselves the marriage vow?”
And Jesus said, “Marriage or no marriage does not make people impure. The man
who lusts is an adulterer, whether he has wife or not.” And then He said to all, “Some things men
know by being told, while other things they know not till the gate of
consciousness shall open up for them. I speak a mystery that you cannot
understand now. But you shall someday understand. A eunuch is a man who does not lust. Some
men are born as eunuchs, some are eunuchs by the power of men, and some are
eunuchs by the Holy Spirit, who makes them free in God through Christ. He
who is able to receive the truth I speak, let him receive.”
They said to Him, "Why then did Moses command
to give a certificate of divorce, and to put her away?"
He said to them, "Moses, because of the
hardness of your hearts, permitted you to divorce your wives, but from the
beginning it was not so. And I say to
you, whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries
another, commits adultery; and whoever marries her who is divorced commits
adultery."
His disciples said to Him, “If such is the case of
the man with his wife, it is better not to marry." Matthew 19:7-10
But He said to them, "All cannot accept this
saying, but only those to whom it has been given: For there are eunuchs who were born thus from
their mother's womb, and there are eunuchs who were made eunuchs by men, and
there are eunuchs who have made themselves eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom
of heaven. He who is able to accept it, let him accept it." Matthew 19:11-12
Explanations:
1.
Marriage is concluded the moment a man and a woman
promise or accept to marry each other.
2.
Once the marriage is rites are concluded, divorce is no
longer possible, both spiritually and physically, in the present lifetime.
3.
Especially, after the two have lived together and have
had romantic or sexual intimacy.
4.
The two are now like two vessels containing two different
liquids and which have been mixed together.
5.
Divorce is only possible after the two have died and
reincarnated each in a new body.
6.
Spiritually, divorce is not possible, because on spirit
divides into two equal halves.
7.
The two halves have a spiritual bond, an unbreakable
cord, a tie or link, joining the two.
8.
One problem in the world is that majority are not
marrying their true mates, due to general spiritual blindness, ignorance and
laziness.
9.
The purpose of certificate of divorce is to serve as a
confirmation; to serve as evidence to any other man who may like to marry the
woman.
10.
If a woman decides to divorce a man, after marriage, she
may go away empty-handed, except with her personal possessions. But, whoever
divorces a woman must give her due portions of their possessions before
divorce. Do not send a woman away empty-handed. (??? - Confirmation is needed
from the Holy Spirit, concerning this matter.)
11.
What God has joined together, let no man put asunder.
12.
And what things God has kept separate, let no man join
together.
13.
Do not bring the things of the kingdom of darkness, like
weaveons and attachments, into the house of God.
14.
Parents must give their children the free hand to live
their own married life.
15.
Do not keep yourself busy dictating for a married couple.
Allow them to live the way the like.
16.
Unfortunately, many parents, especially mothers-in-law,
have spoilt so many good marriages, by interference, intrusions, insistence or
stubbornness.
More Explanations
1.
Divorce, after marriage, is not possible in this
lifetime, especially if the couple have already exchanged vows, blood and
fluid.
2.
Divorce is only possible at the death of the two persons
involved in marriage, when their bodies are dead and decomposed. Only then is
divorce possible because when they reincarnate, they take new bodies.
3.
Most of the reasons given for divorce do not suffice.
They are regarded in heaven as uncountable reasons which are irrelevant
excuses.
4.
The reasons and excuses are the signs of spiritual
blindness, ignorance and laziness.
5.
They are the marks of selfishness and stubbornness, and
are evidences that people are prone to commit evils.
6.
Also, the reasons and excuses show that people are not
ready and willing to listen to the Holy Spirit and follow His guidance.
7.
Therefore, every
divorce, except on the grounds of adultery, is not allowed. Adultery is either
idolatry, which includes evil spirits demons, mermaids, ghosts, idols, charms
or black energies; or sexual immorality, which means having sex outside
marriage is not valid and is not allowed.
8.
What people enjoy or suffer in their present lifetime are
as rewards or punishments for what they did in their previous lifetimes. Yet,
nobody is justified to mock or blame another, because humanity are like
ignorant children, who are still learning many things in life. Just as a child
stumbles and falls down many times when it is learning how to walk. The purpose
of mistakes, errors and sins is to teach humanity obedience and humility, as
well as carefulness and mastery.
9.
Sex outside marriage, including pre-marital sex, is sin.
10.
Dissolution
of marriage is only possible when :
a. Both couple have died and their bodies
decomposed.
b. When they reincarnate and take up another new
(original) bodies.
11.
Spiritually,
one person divides into two halves. One half takes up the male body and is
called man. The other takes up the female body and is called woman.
12.
In the
society, people do not always marry their true wives, respectively, because
people are spiritually blind, ignorant and lazy.
13.
Spiritually,
divorce is not possible. In spirit, because each half is always connected to
the other half by a cord, which is both real and unseen. Time and distance,
however great or small, do not keep the two halves away from each other. They
are always united as one, and as one person in two selves.
14.
Everybody
is busy, knowingly or unknowingly, searching for his or her other half.
15.
The goal
of self-completion may be achieved here on earth or in heaven, when the two
halves find, recognize and unite with each other. That is why and how sex is
not a sin, in marriage.
16.
Against Celibacy
Marriage
is both good and necessary, buy celibacy is a cankerworm, if the Holy Spirit is
not the abiding power. Besides, marriage is ready-made in heaven, by one spirit
that divides into two, one becomes a male and the other a female. So, why
should a person deny his other self?
On
many occasions, celibacy has done more harm than good. The general public may
not know this fact, because of the culture of silence and secrecy of the
religious leaders, especially the reverend fathers and sisters, in the face of
impunity.
Marriage does not
prevent people from seeing God. And there is no sacred text or holy book that
says that married people cannot see God. Among those who saw God in the past,
majority were married. They include:
1. Moses, who had 2 wives
2. Abraham, who had 3 wives
3. Isaac, who had 1 wife
4. Jacob, who had 4 wives
5. David, who had 7 wives
6. Solomon, who had 700 wives and 300 concubines
7. Elders of Israel who had wives
8. Enoch who had 1 wife
9. Noah, who had 1 wife
10.
Peter,
who had 1 wife
If married people cannot see God, then all married
people will not go to Heaven. Also, all the reverend fathers and ministers of
God will not go to Heaven, because they are products of marriage.
Why A
Man And His Wife Are One
“What God has joined together, let no
man put asunder.”
First,
in spirit answer in heaven, one spirit divides into two spirits. The stronger
one becomes the man, while the weaker one becomes the woman. Before they come
down to this world, they were destined to find each other and unite again as
husband and wife. This why in heaven, both Adam and Even are regarded as one,
as a hero.
This
explanations tells you the reason who many couples look alike or behave in the
same way. And that is why a family is regarded as one unit. Marriage is made in
heaven.
There
are many problems in marriage, called family crisis and marriage failures,
because many people marry the wrong partners, out of spiritual blindness,
ignorance and laziness.
